BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A successful installation starts long before the film touches the windshield. Taking a few extra minutes to prepare your tools, workspace and glass can make the installation smoother and help reduce dust, contamination and trapped debris.
We recommend watching the installation video completely before beginning and, whenever possible.
Having a second person also helps with the installation process.

PREPARE YOUR WORKSPACE
One of the biggest causes of installation issues isn't the film. It's contamination.
We recommend that you choose a clean, shaded workspace away from wind and direct sunlight (ideally in your garage or an enclosed space).
Thoroughly clean both the windshield and the surrounding trim before beginning and remove any existing glass coatings such as Rain-X or ceramic coatings with a 3:1 water-to-isopropyl alcohol solution. These extra preparation steps help the film bond properly and reduce the chance of dust becoming trapped beneath the surface.

Clean More Than You Think
Most installation issues begin before the film is applied. Spend extra time cleaning the windshield, edges and surrounding trim to reduce the chance of contamination. -
Use the Correct Slip Solution
Follow the recommended mixture—3–4 drops of Dawn® dish soap in the supplied 500 mL bottle. Too little lubrication makes positioning difficult, while the proper mixture allows the film to glide into place. -
Check Film Orientation
Before removing the liner, confirm the film is facing the correct direction and perform a dry alignment. Taking a few moments now can save significant time later. -
Start in the Centre
Once you're happy with the alignment, begin your first squeegee passes down the centre of the windshield before working toward the outer edges. Small, controlled strokes help remove moisture evenly and improve final alignment. -
Finish Strong
Your final squeegee pass is one of the most important steps. Continue working moisture toward the edges until the film sits flat and uniform across the windshield.
